Loved the old chucks so trying to give this chucks a try. The salad bar was perfect and the main Entre's were just delicious. All of us loved what we ate. The service was fabulous as well. My friends and I only had one negative thing to say. The bread and rolls were not up to par. I know they've tried a few breads but it's still not right. They should have the same rolls as they have in Jim Barbaries Fresh , soft and delicious. I'm sure they can find a wonderful bread to serve. The ambiance is very nice with fireplace and lodge like feeling.

The food was good and the service was acceptable. The raw oysters and clams were very fresh. The salad bar has not changed much over the years and that's a good thing. Overall, the restaurant is good and we plan to go back next time we are in the area.

Took my husband to his favorite steakhouse for his birthday last night. We got there early and got to enjoy happy hour prices, nice surprise!

I was staying at hotel across parking lot and didn't nearly go because of the rating. But because it was as conveniently close , I figured I would take a chance. I am not sure if it's really old reviews bringing this place done but I went and had an excellent meal, attentive service , very clean and rustic charming ambiance. I ordered the bang bang chicken as a starter and it was out of the world amazing. I am kind of glad I live 3 hours away or I would be regularly ordering this dish it's addictive. I tried to bring 1/2 home to family but 2 hours stuck on n Jersey Turnpike finished the order and it held up. For main I ordered sliders was debating on soup and salad bar but the salad bar was ok but not sure enough to justify the price. It would be excellent I am sure when it's included in your entree The sliders were super tasty and filling and fries were great balance of crispy and not too salty. It's a little pricey but then what isn't now a days but definitely worth the stop in.
